The Bhavan was built for the 200th anniversary of Lord Swaminarayan's birth and is named for the Vachanamrut — the Lord's own recorded discourses. It hosts the weekly Sunday sabha, seven-day kathas, week-long parayanas, wedding functions of satsangis, and major festival events like Annkut and Janmashtami rehearsals.
