At Gaudham, every Gir gau mata has a name. Saints rise before dawn to clean, feed and milk them. Bhaktas bring their children to wash the calves and learn ancient gentleness.

The milk is never sold. It goes to the bhog of the Lord, the kitchen of the saints, and the children of the Gurukul — in that order. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is owned.
