Founded in 1948 by Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, the Sansthan today operates more than thirty gurukul branches across India and the world — and Nilkanthdham is its living tirtha.
Shastriji Maharaj envisioned Rajkot Gurukul as a tapovan — a forest hermitage — where vidya and bhakti, shiksha and sadhana, could grow side-by-side. Seventy-five years later, that same sankalp runs thirty gurukuls worldwide, Sanskrit patshalas, hostels, yoga institutes, medical camps, Satsang mandals and — on the Narmada — Nilkanthdham.
Schools and gurukuls from pre-primary through PhD, blending Vedic shikshan with modern curricula. Over 30,000 students across branches.
Kathas, yatras, festivals, weekly sabhas — the Sansthan keeps satsang alive for lakhs of devotees across generations.
Annadan, medical camps, tribal uplift and disaster relief — seva as a daily practice, not an occasional act.
